Kilo Charlie Aviation’s Beginnings
Robert Renfro, a seasoned commercial and corporate pilot, co-founded Kilo Charlie Aviation in 2020 with Andrew Konicek. Their goal: establish the finest flight school in the world. Together they knew that to do this the industry needed to gather the finest certified flight instructors, the best-qualified aircraft mechanics, and an experienced support crew.
Today, Kilo Charlie Aviation, centrally located in Kansas City, the heart of the Midwest, is regarded as the premier school for all levels of flight training. Flight enthusiasts from all over the world come to Kilo Charlie Aviation to get their private pilot license, obtain their instrument rating, become certified flight instructors, and learn about flight at all levels.
