Don’t Let the Weather Get You Down
Earning your Private Pilot License is one step in building an aviation career, but the adventure doesn’t stop there. If you want to further your career as a commercial or airline pilot, adding an Instrument Rating to your license can help you get there.
The Instrument Rating gives you more flexibility as a pilot and allows you to navigate a plane using aircraft instruments. This means you can fly even in adverse weather conditions and you no longer have to rely solely on visual references for navigation.
With an Instrument Rating, a little bit of bad weather doesn’t have to stop you from flying. Reach out to us today to learn more about our program!

Steps to Gaining Your Instrument Rating
With your Private Pilot License (PPL), you can operate a plane under Visual Flight Rules, or VFR. With the addition of an Instrument Rating, you can operate a plane under more diverse conditions, specifically under the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR.) This license is incredibly valuable for any pilot who wants to further their career or work with a commercial airline. The steps to obtaining your Instrument Rating include:
Ground School Training
After meeting the requirements for the Instrument Rating Course, you can begin your ground school training. This training equips you with the knowledge you need to successfully navigate flight under any conditions.
